The All Blacks will be aware of their previous RWC history with France during their much-anticipated pool game on the 24th September at Eden Park in Auckland.
Nicknamed Les Bleu and coached by Marc Liѐvremont, France is hoping to once again prove at the 2011 Rugby World Cup that it is one of the best teams in the world when playing to their strengths, with a creative back line, organised defence, and a string of world-class loose forwards. France will need to remain calm under pressure throughout the RWC, and are especially dangerous to teams who make the mistake of underestimating them.

France kick off their Rugby World Cup campaign in Auckland against Japan on the 10th September, followed by a match against Canada in Napier on the 18th September, New Zealand on the 24th September, and their final pool game is against Tonga on the 1st October in Wellington.
France will spend most of their 2011 Rugby World Cup training at the Onewa Domain on Auckland’s North Shore, from 31st August to 15th September, and again 19th September to 28th September. Napier hosts France from 16th to 18th September, and the French national team will be in Wellington from 29th September to 1st October.

The 9th of September 2011 will see Tonga take on the All Blacks at the opening game of the 2011 Rugby World Cup in front of what is expected to be a packed Eden Park. The Tonga National Rugby Team qualified automatically for Rugby World Cup 2011 by finishing in the top three of their pool at the 2007 Rugby World Cup, and is expected to give some of the stronger rugby teams a run for the money at RWC 2011.
Tonga has a mixed Rugby World Cup history, participating in the inaugural RWC in 1987 where they lost every game and failed to qualify for the 1991 Rugby World Cup. The 1995 Rugby World Cup saw Tonga qualify ahead of Fiji and record their first every Rugby World Cup win by defeating the Ivory Coast 29 – 11.  

The team from Tonga beat Italy in the pool games of the 1999 Rugby World Cup, but again lost every game at the 2003 Rugby World Cup. The 2007 Rugby World Cup was Tonga’s best RWC performance, with the team winning two pool games and coming close to defeating eventual competition winners South Africa.
Tonga will be hoping to achieve consistent, disciplined results at the 2011 Rugby World cup and qualify for the knock out stage of the competition for the first time in its history. Coached by Quddus Fielea and nicknamed Ikale Tahi, the team from Tonga will field a squad of naturally athletic, physical rugby players who will be a real threat to the stronger rugby playing nations at Rugby World Cup 2011.
Tonga are currently ranked 16th in the IRB world rugby rankings, and are in Pool A for the RWC 2011 with Canada, New Zealand, France and Japan. Tonga’s opening Rugby World Cup 2011 game will be on the 9th September against New Zealand in Auckland, followed by a game against Canada in Whangarei on the 14th September. The next RWC pool game for Tonga will be against Japan in Whangarei on the 21st September, and the final 2011 Rugby World Cup pool game for Tonga will be on the 1st October against France in Wellington.
Tonga begin Rugby World Cup 2011 preparation with training in Auckland from the 5th – 11th September before moving to Whangarei from 12th – 14th and 19th – 21st September. The 15th – 18th and 22nd – 25th September will see Tonga training in Kerikeri, and Tonga’s final training team centre will be Wellington from 26th September to 1st October.
